Long before I began carving, I was painting.

Ever since I won a New York City wide contest back in the third grade, I've enjoyed the challenge of making three dimensional objects look "real" on a flat surface.

As I taught myself the art, I learned more and more about color, form and composition.

Eventually, the love of nature and my interest in folk art led me to wildlife art - my favorite subject being old decoys. "So many decoys, so little time," sounds trite, but it's true. I'm always looking forward to the next one.

The paintings I'm offering are all originals - not prints or reproductions. Each is done in acrylics, on illustration board - simply matted and framed - ready to be hung and enjoyed.

Nothing brings personality and warmth into a home or office like a beautiful piece of artwork. A one of a kind original is a good investment in more ways than one.
